This. We can break the videos down frame-by-frame, but as long as they show a woman who rejected the authority of a fascist state, fascists will say she deserved it—and so, in their view, does anyone who isn't actively assisting the fascist state in body or, importantly, belief.
they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.

I wish people were as horrified about immigrants being kidnapped and killed in detention centers as they are about this shooting at the same time I am very glad there is finally some larger momentum building against this and I hope it sustains.

Small correction: while the NYT reported shots were fired by Border Patrol agents as listed below, the Oregonian link states shots were fired by Customs and Border Protection agents, which the federal government has now confirmed.
Just over 24 hours after the news of Good's death broke, reports are already emerging that two people were shot in Portland, Oregon as the result of a targeted vehicle stop by US Border Patrol agents.
