As if artists don't have enough to deal with, Amazon has a "Buy For Me" program in beta which is scraping indie shops for their items and putting them up on Amazon (often incorrectly), for their "AI agent" to buy from the other site. It is NOT opt in, and there is no opt out.
I just found out that our stuff is being sold on Amazon - WITHOUT our consent or any ability to opt out bc Amazon is just scraping artist’s websites and putting our shit in their search results. Again, without our permission.

Just finished "Ancestors," third book in trilogy by @adriennemareebrown.bsky.social and am just filled with gratitude. Not something I feel often after reading fiction! 😅 But damn, what a gorgeous (and very queer) vision of possibility. Highly recommend!

RFK Jr is directly responsible for the deaths of 83 children in American Samoa from measles because he told them to stop vaccinating. Now, he's trying to kill trans kids. He's a fucking psychopath.
HHS is trying to force Seattle Children's into doing a Sophie's choice of abandoning trans youth or see kids with cancer or other serious illness have their coverage and care disrupted. That's what this is about.
Hopefully, the courts put a quick stop to this like the subpoenas.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Sara is a nurse who has been working in Nasser Hospital. She has three children Muhammad, 6, Ziad, 5 and Ammer who is just 11 months. Muhammad and Ammer both need medical care outside of Gaza and she is looking for someone to help with that.

Nearly overwhelmed by so many of our "leaders" and elites vacuously pushing astronomical evil into the world on a daily basis...
...but today I got to spend time with bunch of folks wrapping donated gifts for immigrant school kids and I have to remember that MOST OF US ARE ACTUALLY AWESOME.
