It’s been another busy week dealing with the ICE occupation in Minneapolis, but I wanted to give you a Burrito update!
We started this project just over 5 weeks ago, and since then we’ve provided over 1150 meals for people, and spent almost $12k at local, immigrant-owned restaurants!

CNN reporting that a week before Alex Pretti was killed, 5 agents tackled him and he suffered a broken rib. CNN says he stopped his car after he saw ICE agents interacting with a family on foot and began to blow his whistle. Source tells CNN Pretti believed “That day he thought he was going to die”

The officer who shot Alex worked for DHS for 8 years. The officer who shot Renee worked for DHS for over 10 years. Both are considered “highly trained.”

How dare the people being occupied and terrorized daily since early December 2025 be annoyed at and not bow down to some outside "political strategist" raising money for the DFL party in the guise of combating ICE instead of uplifting efforts by DFL rank and file to keep our neighbors safe.

I am not standing down. I am pissed. People in Minnesota have treated me like shit for helping out. The attacks are still coming 24 hours later. I let it go this am thinking all of you had more to do than attacking someone helping you but I was wrong, and so I am fighting.
