Let's say that again. Over 108,000 Americans lost their jobs in ONE month.

More than 250 from my district showed tf up tonight to talk about the future of Shakopee, the amazing State we love, and to get ICE OUT!

To put this in context, most I can remember from an off-year caucus was probably 30 or 40 people. This was more than ANY precinct caucus since Obama ‘08.

First stop: My neighborhood DFL caucus meeting at North High.

Caucuses are a place where everyday folks help decide what political parties stand for and who carries those values forward. Grateful to all those who showed up tonight to participate in democracy.

My precinct captain has been to every caucus in my district since 1996. He says there has never been this many people at our caucus event in those 30 years. Room is packed. Parking lot is crammed. Cars lined up around the block.

Predicting that this week we’ll hear more conciliatory words from the Administration regarding Minnesota (since they’re starting to realize that ICE has become politically toxic) but everyone outside of Minnesota needs to know that nothing on the ground has changed.
