It feels really good to dunk on those Bitcoin fools. They were so unbearably obnoxious and smug for so long. If you lost your shirt and you weren't a jerk, I'm sorry. But for the rest of ya's:

We are dealing with a serious incident at the junction of Talbot Street and North Earl Street.

We are asking the public to please avoid the area.

As ever, we are asking people to avoid sharing images of the scene.

Segregated cycle lane.

Even then it doesn't matter if drivers aren't looking.

Yet again we have more BS calls for people on bikes to have manditory HiViz & plastic hats.

Meanwhile in the real world the actual threat comes from drivers. This guy was looking at his phone as he blindly followed the car in front of him across a segregated cycle-lane.

I was wearing hi vis when a motorist drove into me. Passengers in the car got out to tell me the driver was really upset because she didn't see me. I didn't have much sympathy as I was picking gravel out of my hands.

I was visible. She didn't look.
The hi viz will work great when I'm hit by a motorist looking at their phone.

And there we have it folks, having failed to do anything to halt the injury and death toll on our roads the government now plans to criminalise cycling.

This will kill bike share schemes around the country. @bleeperactive.bsky.social

Oh well!

To host the last game, the Irish gov spent €4.2m on a licence fee to the NFL, and another €5m on infrastructure and “operational costs”.

DCC spent €350,000.

Imagine if that money was spent on local sporting initiatives? A lot of kids in Dublin City don’t even have a pitch to play on.

All vehicles should have speed governors. This chud shouldn’t have had access to a vehicle capable of such speed. There is no need.
His parents failed as well. Boys who have nothing else going for them but “I can drive a car! I can drive a car fast!”

To deliver herself.
Her Baby died,

It was a sad, slow, stupid death for them both.
