Yesterday our Finglas crew had a few special visitors whilst carrying out a portable pump drill.

Mam Emma, Grandad Séan and Jack arrived first. They went home and got neighbours Mark, Sophia and Conor along with Jack's sister Kate. Jack also got his fire engine to compare with DN15A1.

Firefighters from Finglas "made down" to an open source of water with their portable pump earlier today.

We are able to take water from an open source with either the pump on the fire engine or our portable pump.

Recruit Firefighter Louise on scene at a vehicle fire in the city centre. The fire was extinguished using a high pressure hose reel.

Firefighters from Phibsborough and Finglas along with a District Officer responded to reports of a house fire earlier today.

On arrival, they discovered a chimney fire.

With the cold nights creeping back in, you should have your chimney cleaned before you use it this season.

We have finished at the scene of a road traffic collision on the #M50 between J5 and J6 Southbound.

Thanks to passing Medicall ambulance MED90 crew James and Fiona for their assistance.

Donnybrook firefighters were called to two vehicles alight tonight. Firefighters in breathing apparatus extinguished the fires and made sure a nearby property was unaffected.

Today 12 S/O's on their D/O development course,accompanied by D/O Peter Sherlock visited Dublin Airport Operations Centre for a familiarisation visit, if and when they need to respond to incidents both land and airside in Dublin Airport.

Firefighter/Advanced Paramedics responding to a car fire recently witnessed a cardiac arrest a short distance away.

CPR, along with Advanced Life Saving treatment was given at the scene, a #ROSC was achieved and the person was transported to hospital.

Firefighters from Balbriggan are extinguishing a fire close to the M1 at Junction 6. The fire was discovered by our District Officer who was returning from Balbriggan station.

As a result, smoke is blowing across the motorway, with visibility reduced.
