Our District Officer from Finglas visited our training centre on our District Officer Development course on Monday for a familiarisation tour of the vehicle.

This vehicle is used by District Officers to respond to incidents when two or more fire engines are responding.

Firefighters from Balbriggan, Finglas and Swords, along with a water tanker responded to a shed fire last night. The fire was extinguished and further damage to the house was prevented.

A thermal imaging camera was used on scene to ensure all hot spots were extinguished.

Yesterday our Finglas crew had a few special visitors whilst carrying out a portable pump drill.

Mam Emma, Grandad Séan and Jack arrived first. They went home and got neighbours Mark, Sophia and Conor along with Jack's sister Kate. Jack also got his fire engine to compare with DN15A1.
