You can practice it. It's a skill you learn, like saying "no" or conditioning yourself to ask for a lawyer. Drill it. Drill saying "gross, man, if you don't knock it off will embarrass the hell out of you" or "that's inappropriate. No." Or "that isn't funny" or "go away" until that's who you are.
