To be fair this was just some kid with 200 subs but a particular phenomenon that weirds me out is anglo youtubers attempting to be anime experts while not speaking a word of Japanese. What am I ever gonna learn from you that's not a 5 sec google search away...

I'm generally okay with my technical skill but I wish I could draw stuff that was less engineer-brained. I'm so used to making comics and making them clean/practical/coherent for the viewer to the point I can't leave room for the sort of mess and weirdness that makes art interesting...

Huh I thought Homestuck was one of those "impossible to adapt" dealies but the pilot works surprisingly well! Ngl the original is SO long I don't mind at all watching a more streamlined version

So disappointing to come across grown ass adults (even artists!) sincerely believing that some types of fiction/art are "too upsetting" to be allowed to exist. Please please please you can't afford to be this short sighted. Do 10 minutes of research about nazis and degenerate art or something

Regretfully I'm the type of girlfriend who can't watch Godfather movies without complaining. I appreciate good filmmaking. I get the appeal of sitting in expensive rooms looking mildly pissed off. But not a single character is fun or sympathetic and Michael especially is a void of charisma lol
