The right's obsession with SNAP recipients buying popsicles is a modern version of a centuries-old tradition of scolding the poor for what they eat. It mimics verbatim Victorian complaints about the poor indulging in tea and sugar, mistaking consumption as a cause of poverty instead of a symptom.

The role of spatial distance in SARS-CoV-2 nosocomial transmission
The nosocomial transmission of respiratory viruses causes significant disruption to
hospital care, but the spatial dynamics of transmission on hospital wards are poorly

What’s “internal”
Because apparently some of us are not on the inside and in EIGHT MONTHS you and your party have not listened or issued real statements that show us that
We’ve seen more briefings on abandoning “special interests” than actual outreach

Offsetting or bypassing social harms is not the same thing as solutions and eradicating the issue. So many folks just mobilized on fear based on groups of the imagined "other".

Americans understood that Trump and Republicans were to blame.
Voters made it known last Tuesday that they'll elect leaders who stand up to Trump.
Democrats held the cards — and folded for no reason.
