As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

I want to very gently say something, and I hope nobody will be mad: If somebody on the internet says something that is NOT about politics and NOT about how terrible everything is, it’s a kindness not to reflexively make a comment (in jest or not) that brings it back to those things.

"We civil servants organized to help our colleagues face the hardship of the shutdown, we put up with the pain and our only request was to not be betrayed like this. Trade our pain, make it count."

If there really is a end to the shutdown forthcoming, we have to look at what else was snuck in or what the quid pro quo really was. trumf will spin it that he saved the holiday season & put food on your table, making like he is the American family's savior when he jeopardized us in the first place.
So trumf deploys National Guard in US Cities, shuts the government & cuts SNAP. Now soldiers aren't paid & are told to go to a food pantry but food pantries are overrun with people who depended on SNAP.

How is this not slavery? It's a human rights violation.
Ask yourself what's REALLY happening. 🤨

“They cheat, they will lose.”

Is he for real? And where has he been for the past 10 months? Theyre cheating and winning, especially after last night when the Democrats caved without getting one thing for the people.
That December vote is a huge moment we can turn into a victory. People are watching. Good bill, we win; they cheat, they will lose. If we fight united.

It's me again, just putting it out there that I am going to need space in 2026 for at least 5 events that can hold at least 100 people. Looking for accessible and also CHEAP spaces in NYC. None of the convenings will be charging people to participate. Thank you.

It should be illegal to be this stupid
Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

seems to me that those democrats inclined not to fight perceive themselves as living through a somewhat ordinary cycle of presidential overreach and backlash and not something much more significant and dangerous

We cannot let “haunted ICE agent regretfully explores his feelings/past/guilt” become a genre the way we did with every bad actor since the Confederates.
This is why they were in downtown Chicago today.

"one agent shouted, “Everyone say, ‘Little Village!’”"

Nuremberg Trials are the moderate stance
