This is a common thread, and it’s important - because liberal democratic principles are the way forward and people like Calla are opposed to them
While individuals like Calla gained prominence for progressive advocacy on Palestine, their positions on Syria, Ukraine, the Uyghurs, and now Iran reveal a pattern of supporting any regime they perceive as going against the west. (3)

This was the concern with the 2 week delay.
The idea of trading some delay for splitting off the DHS bill was OK, but 2 weeks (+ the couple days before the deadline when it was agreed to) is politically forever.
We'll see what happens, protests are still massive, but the vibe does seem lower now.
