Status Quo Politics is holding us back. Who will call for a big fight, and big change? The status quo cannot hold.

SCOTUS delenda est
and our hero was fighting back... he tried everything, machetes, starving it of nutrients... does he lose the battle?

also, the usual way to phrase 'together we hatched a plan for her escape'
is 'there was some overlap when we started dating'
and sometimes 'she cheated on him with me'

(But maybe not right now. Way better in 2024)

there’s some of this but it’s mostly about the ways billionaires are shitty and how some of them are not players and get run over while full of emotions about it by real serious people

It is natural to believe that things will always stay the way they are

Yes this. Greene is ambitious and she’s seeing a post-Trump world and a fight for the Republican base.

People on Capitol Hill are not aware of how fragile Trump‘s support is now. They think he’ll be here forever. But his approval is falling
I don't find either theory terribly plausible. Mine or Capitol Hill's. If you're an ambitious pol do you go full Samson and bring the walls down on everyone becaue you can't run for Senate? Can anyone think of any other pol who ever did something like that?
November 18, 2025 at 2:26 AM
I don’t think either theory is really correct.

Greene is a cynical operator who can read where the base is going and how Trump is losing support. That’s the main driver, future political positioning. Being angry at Trump and having some QAnon crazy ideas doesn’t hurt. But it’s mostly positioning
It’s an inkblot, testing how sincere of a person people think MTG is. Scuttlebutt on Capitol Hill is that this is revenge for Trump submarining her Senate ambitions, but if you believe she was radicalized online like a typical MAGA base voter, this is a reasonable theory.

That’s right, she’s motivated cynically by her base

Bad news, Lizza‘s prose is more flouncy even than hers. The bamboo! The machete!
November 18, 2025 at 2:17 AM
The good news is that we will be putting many of them in jail in 2029
November 18, 2025 at 2:15 AM
This is wha…t? The what? The bamboo is a metaphor? And the machete? and he’s going to “poison the roots, cut off the supply of water and nutrients…” and … she cried about him arranging her enormous shoe collection? And Keith Olbermann???
