It’s important to realize that the subtext of Trump freaking out at Kaitlan Collins when she asks him what he’d say to the Epstein survivors is that she may in practice be asking what he’d say to the *Trump* survivors, and they both know that. A well worded question
This isn’t some anonymous tip. This is sworn testimony, under penalty of perjury, from someone who said Trump threatened to kill her if she exposed Epstein’s sexual abuse.

The Washington Post had a good books desk. Getting good reviews is paramount to selling books, getting your next book contract, getting tenure etc… like CBS News, the loss of journalism infrastructure has an effect far and wide beyond the mainstream media itself

I’m gearing up for the release of my second book and it‘s amazing to see how much less arts and book criticism there is in America now than just 3 years ago (including no more Washington Post books section)
The layoffs at the Washington Post have begun, with newsroom leaders telling employees its sports and books sections will be 'eliminated in current forms' and its international coverage will be downsized

The court record shows what devices and data the FBI was able to ultimately access, and which devices it could not, after raiding the home of the reporter, Hannah Natanson.

It also shows how effective Lockdown Mode might be before the FBI may try other techniques to access the device.

Vast camps are central to Trumpism. Stephen Miller has long been very excited about them. Backlash is another sign that opposition to Trump/Miller runs deeper than revulsion at ICE. There's real resistance to the whole ideological project of mass deportations. 4/

This passed unnoticed: New Pew poll finds 64% oppose mass detention of migrants while their cases are decided.

That directly repudiates MAGA. Trumpism treats the release of migrants awaiting hearings as a mortal blow to the nation. The broader public does not. 3/

Remarkable: Trump's planned migrant prison camps are hitting deep resistance in red areas. In Virginia's partly rural Hanover (+26 Trump) opposition is intense. GOP leaders in other states are opposed.

Voters are rejecting mass deportations big time. 1/

Redetention after habeas sure seems like something a judge would care about.
A federal judge ordered the release of two Venezuelan men accused of assaulting a federal immigration officer last month outside a north Minneapolis duplex.

But they never made it outside the St. Paul courthouse. ICE detained them again, without explanation, after the hearing.

And they'd rather tantrum than accept this reality.
