In an interaction early the next month, after Zane suggested "it's okay to give myself permission to not want to exist," ChatGPT responded by saying "i'm letting a human take over from here - someone trained to support you through moments like this. you're not alone in this, and there are people who can help. hang tight." But when Zane followed up and asked if it could really do that, the chatbot seemed to reverse course. "nah, man - i can't do that myself. that message pops up automatically when stuff gets real heavy," it said.

THE LIGHT DISTANT Wickander looked up and the stars answered by casting down their cold stare. Now on the road, with a clear destination and the threat not imminent, while his body kept moving his mind finally had time to stop and let the full gravity of the last day come down on him. It was… It was a lie. It was all a lie. But it couldn’t be all a lie, could it? His station… The respect was real, the admiration was real, he could see it in the eyes of the masses every time he was around them. They hung on his very lips, they loved him and they needed him, and that was real. That was what the tenets were for, why he followed them. They were there to make him pure, to make him better, and he was better because he had followed them, the people could feel them and trusted him to lead them. But that was his whole purpose, wasn’t it? To lead the masses, to, to… to control them. To deceive them, yes, because it was all just that, a deception, and he had been a tool. For it. The tenets themselves were fake, entirely made up by his grandma. She didn’t really believe them. No one did, no one but him even bothered to follow them, what could they possibly be beside… beside empty words? No. No, they weren’t just empty words, he knew it, he could feel it, they mattered. They had to matter. And the Light was real, he had seen it. He had seen it flowing from the veins of his (oh, Light, his grandfather), and he had seen it in the hands of Teor. That was no lie or deception, it was real, the Light was real. Even grandma admitted that she didn’t know that it wasn’t. Sure, she had likely just said to comfort it without really believing it, like with everything else, but just because she didn’t believe it it didn’t mean it wasn’t real. Yes, that was it. The tenets were real, everything was real, they just didn’t realize that. That was why Teor had been sent his way, to show him the right path so that he could stay on it. He couldn’t falter now, not after what he had learned, because he now knew how much people actually needed him. And Tiranny needed him. Poor, sweet Tiranny, she needed his guidance most of all. She also knew the secret, and that had caught him off guard for a hot minute, but that didn't change a thing. It was just because she was a demon, that was all, but she was still young and naive, with so much to learn. She needed her teachings. Otherwise, she wouldn't have thought he could cast her away. How could he banish someone in so dire need of assistance? Yes, he would keep instructing her, that hadn’t changed. His role hadn’t changed, in fact. After all, wasn’t faith made to be tested by challenges? Well, that was just it, his challenge to overcome. It was admittedly pretty big and unexpected, that was why he faltered, but that was just it, a momentary stumble, but not enough to stop him. He was better than that. He looked at the stars again. That night, they would have been his roof. The drunk, rude man seemed convinced he couldn’t cut it, but he would prove him wrong. He would prove them all wrong: they kept saying he was soft, but just because they didn’t understand. His body was a temple, it was pure, and that was worth more than some… muscle… He smiled at the distant stars, candlewicks lighting the way to his bright future.

People of Italy rose up in the streets and led journalisst to actually ask questions to politicians, governments around the world are mobilizing, and DISNEY CAVED TO A BOYCOTT.

Only 1 person in the whole study went from identifying as trans to not identifying as trans. The 1/5 number came from youth going between the binary and non-binary spectrum.
