One thing people forget is that the US supports plenty of dictators right now, it has supported dictators in the past, and it has installed its own dictators in other countries through regime change operations.

I'll do you one better - the removal of political context from popular media such as Call of Duty and every war movie in the last 2 decades is a direct contribution to this lack of information and context and has been, in part, led by the US military and government.
Some of the responses I'm seeing to the invasion in Venezuela are wild. But that's how we got into this problem in the first place; we're losing the information war. Nobody understands politics and nobody has the context so everybody is jumping to conclusions, which just makes it even harder.
