Well hell I guess I’m gonna fed post now. For everybody out there who is anti-gun for the last 20 or 30 years yes this is exactly the moment in time that the second amendment was intended for. Owning a firearm is your right and you should probably exercise it. Just make sure you learn how to use it.

People are over-reading this. The judge dismissed the *federal* murder charges because his (alleged) actions didn’t fit within federal law. He still faces *state* murder charges because it’s usually a state crime. The feds stepped in because they were mad NY doesn’t have the death penalty.

Whats esp crazy about the latest Discourse is its not even like ppl are saying "no we dont want to get rid of ICE." Its p clear thst many prominent Ds are coalescing around exactly that. Its that what should be an uncontroversial statement of "itll take a D trifecta" is being treated as a betrayal.
