CoH was founded in 1970 as the largest congregation in the MCC. It left in 2003 and eventually joined the UCC. It still is probably the largest church in the world primarily serving the LGBT+ community, though not the largest in the UCC.

I went to MCC church in the mid-90s. A lot of people who left the Southern Baptist Evangelical church because they were LGBT moved to MCC, but that's not the only tradition in MCC.
I also worked for Cathedral of Hope, probably the largest gay congregation in the US.

I would think the recent instances of Gr*k firmly stating that El*n was the strongest, fastest, bestest little boy at Every Thing, and his life, nay, even just his favorite jacket, was more valuable that All The Children In The World, would indicate the vast control the owners have over AI.
