Nate Blouin wins the UT01 Dem Primary would be the opening up of his Senate seat and someone I’d very much like to see run to fill that is Utah’s only openly LGBT State Rep Sahara Hayes whose HD32 seat is located in his Senate seat

Musk is also going on about Lee Kuan Yew, the fascist who oversaw Singapore’s rapid economic development in the 2nd half of the 20th century.

No coincidence that two of Lee’s favorite weapons were detentions without trials and suing opponents for defamation.

Oh and he was a eugenicist.

If we’d had a healthier and more robust regulatory apparatus and a proper tax system during the past 30 years, Elon Musk would be saying the same crap but nobody would care because he’s just another loser on 4chan.
It’s Sunday and the richest man in the world is on the social media platform he owns, along with many journalists and maybe your employer’s C-suite.

He’s posting normal things like:

-re: non-white immigration “decimating” demographics, “America must not fall”

- We should hang murderers in public

An incredible @runforsomething.net alum in Utah who has served the community and is ready to fight for them. Let’s goooo
We can’t keep doing politics as usual. Utahns struggle to pay for housing while Trump & the GOP Congress play games with our healthcare & victimize our communities. It’s time for Democrats who will stand up & speak truth to power. That’s why I’m running for Congress.

Hillary Clinton supported a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage in the 2000s because this was seen as the moderate position. Many states passed such amendments to their state constitutions in the 2000s, including California in 2008, the same election Barack Obama won the presidency.
One time I genuinely heard someone say that people were less homophobic in the 2000s and I was like "we had to invent an entire separate word to describe straight men who gave a shit about their appearance to let people know they weren't gay." Not to mention all the, you know, actual hate crimes.

Nuzzi's fawning coverage of the sociopathic conspiracy crank she was having an affair with aided his rise to political power, which he is using to perpetrate the worst intentional public health catastrophe of our unnecessarily shortened lifetimes, and THAT is the STORY.

This is obscene. This is fucking monstrous.
Have a chronic illness that has been relatively under control for about 20 years. I'm going to lose insurance because the premium is going up to 1600/month. Talked to 2 case managers, both did research and said there will be no affordable options for me. I have no other options.

The base can handle some kayfabe but not when Republicans are torching the constitution and abducting people off the street.
There will be some "Wow you can't make these people happy" sentiment but what's really happening is the Dems are beginning to reap the consequences of not really believing in anything. Choreographed maneuvers, too clever by half talking points. People have just had it

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

The answer Sen, Shaheen is that since America elected the Black man to be president, the official position of the Republican Party is “not to work together with Democrats to address the problems that are facing this country.”
Shaheen: "When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, 'Why can't you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'"

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

Do not help your opposition is politics 101. Do not help fascists who have turned government into a weapon against our people is human 101. So is, don't draw a line you claim represents your unwavering principles and hurl yourself across it.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
