your movement has to be like 8 levels removed from reality to think that some of the starving kids in gaza also having serious medical conditions makes Israel look better. it's completely insane. they just think because it's an additional fact it's somehow exonerating.
Jewish Federations applauds Olivia Reingold, a staff writer at Bari Weiss's Free Press, as she victory laps her (ghoulish and erroneous) reporting that some of the children Israel was starving to death and denying medical aid to in Gaza had pre-existing conditions.

Were there actually people from the Musky site here this morning? Must be quite the culture shock to see a bunch of well-meaning weird nonsense and arguments instead of a bunch of ads and bots promoting the Great Replacement Theory or whatever that place is now...

Target did you try not doing dumb racism when not prompted to?

Starbucks did you try not union busting and actually allow people to sit down at your restaurants? Because that might help!

Oh no.

Not Bill Clinton.

Oh no.

What will I do now with my Clinton Crypto, Clinton Bible, Clinton Hat, Clinton Vodka, Clinton University diploma, Clinton Tower lease?

I am nothing without those

We went from prohibiting sports betting to having it be ubiquitous with pretty much no guardrails. Prohibition isn't the answer, but betting sponsorships of teams/leagues/broadcast networks, mobile betting and prop bets shouldn't exist anymore. Make people go to a casino to bet on teams.

This is a good take. Raleigh had possibly the best season ever for a catcher. Judge had damn near a 10 WAR while winning the slash line triple crown. All in on Judge takes Cal doing it as Catcher for granted, all in on Cal takes Judge's greatness for granted. Either would've been a good choice...
Raleigh had a remarkable season, one I'll never forget. Judge was just ... a little bit better. I think it was reasonable to make up the gap with intangibles and ineffables and whatnots, but ultimately, I also think Judge was the right choice. But it wouldn't have been a robbery either way IMO.

The MLS Calendar change is good, BUT also only knocks out June and January. From extensive personal experience, I can tell you Ft. Lauderdale in July-September and Chicago in December/February are miserable times to spend hours outdoors. Do I trust MLS to figure out how to mitigate that? Maybe?

Just shut up.

You're making the world worse for thinking like this.

This. "Fun" fact: DJT lost the popular vote by more in 2016 than he won it by in 2024. The only smaller popular vote margins in the past 50 years were 1976 and 2000.
I feel like Jamelle Bouie has been making this point a lot. Even when Trump has won elections, he’s *never* won a majority of the electorate. It has been standard operating procedure since Bush 43 to claim mandates even with flimsy margins of victory though.
Some Dems and pundits overread the significance of Trump's win. They looked at dissatisfaction with the border and discerned a seismic cultural reaction to immigration levels inside the country. The former was real. The latter is a mirage.

It was always silly for MLS Season Pass to exist as its own service within Apple TV -- this is an obvious change that will make MLS more accessible.

If you want to watch the Champions League, you sub to Paramount+. If you want to watch MLS, you sub to Apple TV.

Simple.
BREAKING: MLS will come out from behind the separate MLS Season Pass subscription beginning in 2026, per sources.

All games will be available on the Apple TV streaming service.

I'm sure someone has said it already and it's a bit of reckless speculation, but Clase has to either be a gambling addict or owe someone a favor he can't refuse, right? There's no other way he could be dumb enough to risk throwing away millions (maybe tens of millions) for a few thousand, right?

Lots of hard, shitty lessons being learned from this presidency. And one of the many I hope you're learning is, white supremacy is incompatible with reality, and cannot exist without historical revisionism.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

Probably should've predicted Fulham would lose to Everton away and Mizzou football would pile up yet another loss to a Top 10 team, but it's the hope that kills you... At least I didn't watch Wimbledon shipping 5 goals and the YouTubeTV dispute will prevent me from being disappointed by FSU again.

Don't forget that Mucks or whatever his name is used the blanket authority he was gifted with zero oversight to indiscriminately slash government programs which has already led to hundreds of thousands of deaths.
This is what oligarchy looks like:

If you're Elon Musk, the richest man alive, Tesla gives you a $1 trillion pay package & Trump gives you a huge tax break.

If you're a poor kid on SNAP, Trump appeals a court decision that would have prevented you from going hungry.

Obscene.

I don't follow front offices too closely in baseball let alone other sports, so TIL that one of the Moneyball guys was an exec for the Browns and responsible for a move that was simultaneously morally unconscionable off the field and comically terrible on it.
