Yes it’s important for journalists to see that this won’t stop with these 4. I’d add that it’s vital for any of us that value our 1A rights to recognize that these folks were reporting for us. Not hyperbole to say that this is an attack on ALL of us, the constitution and the rule of law

The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

Even taking this at face value, there is no way to turn current ICE & CBP into "immigration enforcement that is lawful, reasonable, and effective." You can't "commonsense reform" an agency full of people who gladly masked up to murder people, kidnap children, teargas daycares, and invade consulates.
As support to dismantle ICE/CBP becomes the clear majority position - Schumer’s surrender Dems are listening to milquetoast “reform” messaging - and it is coming from John Fetterman’s former chief of staff.
