Police do this all the time with training. Unfortunately Breonna Taylor isn't here to talk about that. Because they murdered her.
Federal agents raided the wrong house in connection with missing guns left inside an ICE vehicle. The apartment they were supposed to search was on the floor above. The door was kicked in, and the home left in shambles.

Those 47 days of training are proving to be too few.

i have been reading Tom Ricks’ “Fighting the Good War” which is a military analysis of the civil rights movement, and one thing that comes abundantly across is that movement leaders and ordinary people made it a practice to refuse to fall into despair and cynicism.

So I shared this thread on the 100th anniversary of the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924 & I'll share again because I think it is important for folks to know what it is the Trump admin has to undo to undo our US citizenship in order to set a precedent for challenging birthright citizenship.
Forgot to share here but to help put this into perspective, my great grandma was 9 years old when ALL Native Americans gained US citizenship on June 2, 1924 with the Indian Citizenship Act.

The reports coming out of Minnesota of the brutality of ICE terror are harrowing. What's clear to me, however, is that the people are rising up to resist this violence head on. Resistance is everywhere. We may be on our own, but we are not alone.

Blessed are the whistle blowers
Resistance to the ongoing brutality is everywhere. One need only step outside to find it.
