I love that things it is actually reasonable to be concerned about (climate change, genocide, the rise of global fascism) simply do not get discussed whilst things it is unreasonable to be concerned about (trans people, immigration, benefits) suck all the air out of the room.
The consequences of 'tolerant allies' repeatedly going "she isn't transphobic, she just has some reasonable concerns" instead of listening to the people affected :)

I do have to point out that even with a more-accepting society, there is a gulf between "I am okay with queers" and "I am okay with my kid being a queer". People can support LGBT rights in the abstract and then get spooked when their own precious cinnamon roll makes them a "non-traditional family".

i started hormones in HRT and straight up went to a clinic open house thinking i was just gonna get some info and walked out with a script. i was so happy that i gave a dude asking for change like $20. informed consent fucks. if u are thinking about HRT u should try it u can always decide to stop
hrt isnt scary, rle is fuckin scary, thats what kept me in the closet until i was almost 30, they still make people do it some places, like how many trans women heard about informed consent for the first time in the late '10s and went "oh shit for real?" and got on estrogen within weeks or days

On God I think the way capitalism biz tactics got its hands on artists in the indie field did a lot of mental damage (myself included). Posting as a Brand is exhausting. I'm so glad to see so many artists not give a shit anymore and just openly be people talking about their lives alongside art
