The biggest problem in the Dem party are the people who attained positions of power and influence due to their connections to the Clintons, Obama, and Pelosi. This has allowed them to continually assert they know the secret to winning when all they do is accommodate and lose.

Probably deserved, but I still can't shake the feeling that the Luka trade was made above his pay grade. It was such an obviously ridiculous move that I wonder if ownership tried to do it on purpose to piss off the fans, or if the NBA offered them the #1 pick for sending him to the Lakers.

I think people who are mad about this misunderstand his point: obviously the Dems need to retake the Senate, but what good is *this* current crop of Dems considering they fold on literally everything?

Why is the "we must be united!" hectoring directed at people who are mad at the Cavers and not to the Cavers? Everyone who's mad was united, then the Cave Caucus walked across the aisle and betrayed what the public had been told was the Dem position.

I'm skeptical the Dems can ever be fixed or reformed since the donors own the party, but the entire Dem base would have to abandon the party before 2028 for a third party to work.
Short-term, a successful party takeover really is the only option to save the country that doesn't require brute force.
