Proud socialist. Anti-Zionist. All genocides are bad. Keep the migrants, deport the racists.

We musn't loose sight of the horrific war crimes in Sudan. The UAE should be isolated diplomatically and the RSF must be immediately dismantled. This is a genocide.

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

based on the epstein emails released today i am Tapping The Sign
thinking about it now: i've said it before but the argument gets more reasonable by the day that joe biden should be (and will be) historically viewed similarly to buchanan for his complete inability to respond appropriately to trump during his term. he had one job and he fucked it up.

another of those things that's making it clearer why so many of these people see ChatGPT as a miracle rather than just a scam to get in on
Had the same reaction. Did I miss something where everyone rich and famous sends emails that are incomprehensible gibberish?
Seen a few of the epstein emails now, all with different people and it's not the main issue here but is everyone illiterate

I've hated a lot of movies. Somehow I'm not going back to complain about Deadpool & Wolverine all the time and making video reviews where I nitpick every last scene the way people hold onto grudges for the Prequels, Snyder, Bayformers, etc.

Thank you CH4 for being one of the rare outlets covering this.

Israeli settlers staged at least 264 attacks on Palestinians in October alone according to the UN, the highest total since they began collecting data in 2006.

in fact, there are no crimes. if the police want you dead, they kill you. if you're rich nothing is illegal. and everything else is us arguing with each other and the police arresting black people to push them into legal slavery.

there, that's how american law works. you're welcome.

One of the craziest things happening right now is how there’s been report after report confirming that Jeffrey Epstein really was an Israeli intelligence operative, and yet it’s had no measurable impact on mainstream media or politics.

I feel like Esther Ghey is getting used by bad faith actors.

I’m not mad at Esther. I feel for her. She’s a grieving parent. Idk what’s in Esther’s heart other than pain.

It’s everyone else who convinced her that going after phones would bring justice for her daughter.

Esther is also a victim

The BBC opened its article about the adaptation of a trans woman’s life story by quoting Maya Forstater. They replaced Johnson being booed with cheers. They doctored an email to lie about Corbyn.

How is that not ‘raw sewage’?
if you’re wondering what TV & radio would look like without the bbc if the right had its way, picture the state of our privatised rivers & seas, but instead it’s raw sewage pumped into your telly & speakers

The issue with TFA’s worldbuilding is that it smashes us back to the Episode 4 status quo - uberpowerful Empire with limitless personnel, small band of rebels - without ever connecting or explaining WHY either side enjoyed such a dramatic swing of fortunes in the intervening years.
The whole ‘well TFA having the fascists return is like reality’ is stupid because the issue with TFA is not that the Empire are back. It’s that the Empire, despite being overthrown and defeated the last time we saw them, has somehow managed to build up a store of resources and personnel even bigger

Yep, studios were broken by internet nitpickers and think normal audiences would not be perfectly happy to see Different Handsome Brit walk in and say “Bond, James Bond” whilst holding onto the delusion that a Kangaroo is a Martini.

I’ve obtained exclusive footage of Diane Abbott when she heard that Starmer’s allies are worried about a potential leadership challenge:

I could make fun of the recent post going around about Padme not caring about the Tusken Raider children being killed but like pretty much all Prequel hate it all boils down to "I can't believe the prequel to a series about a fascist empire had characters say and do things that lead to fascism.

the more time that passes, the more obvious it gets that Joe Biden was the wrong person to succeed Donald Trump, and we are suffering the consequences of that.
look at what this leadership did with oversight powers of SCOTUS in the middle of multiple devastating scandals for the conservatives. look at the half assed impeachments and half-assed oversight during the teens.

Remember, when journalists just let trans people live their lives in peace, it’s “ideological capture”, but when they use their own personal anti-trans beliefs to lead a campaign to close down the only place in the country trans youth received healthcare, it’s absolutely fine, nothing to see here.

This is a funny remark from one of America's premier pundits because the UK does, in fact, have several examples of things that do (or at least c/sh/would) function impressively well, and when they fail in their mission it's often attributable to Americanisation, i.e. private enterprise.
