Today's my last full day in Houston, my last Sunday at the church that has been my community for the past four years, my last dinner at my best friends' house...it's a lot. I know that God-willing I will see these people all again, but it's hard, and if you pray, would love to be prayed for ⚓️

Spent some time on my lunch break calling my senators and congresswoman to share how upset I am about foreign aid being frozen. Even with some exemptions, it will kill people around the world (especially since there's a lack of clarity around implementation)

A little over a year ago I was in Texas, where I preached a sermon for an explicitly inclusive Episcopalian church which had made its home in a strip mall - we don't have them in the UK but it was just like those you see on TV, a parking lot with glass fronted units beside an enormous road.
