Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Obviously, America's BBC fans are not MAGA. I'd advise the Beeb not to blow it and bow to this public (derogatory) school bully.
Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

Inaction and self-interest are built into climate summits. Instead, we need a voting system that can’t be subverted by fossil fuel producers, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

The MAGA crowd in American loves Hungary's Orban. They want America to be just like Hungary with a powerful autocrat, cowardly media, separate rights for white straight men, etc.

For some reason they always leave out the part where Hungary is rapidly building out solar.
A decade ago, solar power barely registered in Hungary’s electricity mix — just 0.2% of generation. Back then, nuclear, coal, and gas dominated the grid.

Fast forward ten years and solar power now supplies around 1/4 of Hungary’s electricity — a remarkable transformation.

Finally, a bit of a reality check from our 2024 election book (out soon!) for everyone hyperventilating about collapsing public trust in the BBC - free to air TV (mostly the BBC) is still the most widely consumed and widely trusted source of news - blows print, online & social media out of the water

Vance shares a strange immunity with Trump.

The press cannot or will not pierce through his rhetoric to see the what-should-be-obvious danger of the man.

This includes:
1. Vance follows lots of neo-Nazis on X
2. His championing of Germany's far right
3. HE'S WELCOMING HITLER LOVERS INTO THE GOP
JD Vance now leads the GOP. And he wants the party to welcome Hitler lovers.
And the press refuses to reckon with what this means.

What's happening to these kids is being paid for by our tax dollars.

We're paying for the torture of children.
