first and foremost you have to love people. you have to try to love people, fucked up animals we are and all. indulging misanthropy and anti-social sentiment is a win for the anti-social misanthropes who want everyone who isn't them dead.

When people say “go big or go home” I always chose home. I like it at home. All my stuff is there and it’s comfy.

I’m doing research for a project and found out about the “don’t buy where you can’t work” movement during the depression, where Black people boycotted and picketed places that wouldn’t hire us. Shout out to everyone who’s not going back to Target!

to hell with substack. been trying to rediscover my rhythm since leaving the nazi garden. gotta start somewhere so here's a brief recap of the last few months—new york, chicago, a new house that came pre-loaded with endless lessons + a handful of perfect poems

A lightship full of birdsong
A whole life keeps happening, even when I struggle to sit down and write about it. But it's here, it's mine. I'm trying to make it a good one. Also a poem by Gaby Calvocoressi. It's perfect.

i am fortified by my hatred for the police. my hatred for the police makes me feel loving and effervescent, a part of a world that doesn't need them. i love the earth and what it made. i will die hating the police.

bone beings don't experience time the same way blood bags do. i think the soul is the spark, but the skeleton quickly evolves into something new and unknowable to its juicier antecedent
opening this conversation j and i had earlier to y'all: when a skeleton comes to life, is it animated by the person it used to be (like a ghost), or is it its own bone being?
