A different friend was given the advice by his girlfriends romanian grandma: when you move in buy a new carton of salt; if you're still together when you have gone through the entire carton of salt: get married.
I am not demi-* I just have a lot of anxiety about things because I've never done things so I'm approaching this backwards. When we have to buy more salt I'll ask them to be my boyfriend.

After 5 or 6 glorious years of living alone I invited my friend to be my roommate and they accepted. So there is going to be a lot of sour cream and sitting around reading in the living room in my future.

I cannot stress this enough: you want to write a book? Write it. Do it now. Don’t wait. There is never a perfect time and you don’t need anyone’s permission. There are always dragons ahead. Not to be dark, but the cliff awaits. Write it in scraps, in voice notes, in a crappy notebook...

Because I was supposed to be out measuring the water table 4 days a week this month my friend has just moved in to dog sit. Well season has turned into a shit show but I gotta say.

They got these two puzzles for christmas that are mostly edge and we put this one together in about 4 hours last night. It was a lot of fun.

I made black bean soup on Sunday, reheated it yesterday then left the pot out over night uncovered because my friend and I got really into a puzzle.
They've been using it as a dip for tostadas all afternoon.

My furnace is a Rheem Centurion II which uses 2! 12x20 filters which are inserted through the guts of the furnace and must then wiggled ,blind, into 45 degree angled brackets.
