Lindz is correct, this one is a must read!!! Horrifically plausible wellness commodity babyyyyyyy!!!!
My future wife @pegasusunder.bsky.social wrote an incredible wellness satire flash; hilarious and horrible in equal measures.

You HAVE to read this.
"Can you tell us about your journey to start Airable Consumption?

I like to share my journey to inspire others."

The commodification of wellness cranked up to absurd and horrifying degrees in the incredible @pegasusunder.bsky.social's latest! Don't miss "Airable Consumption," up now on hex!

Derrick is mostly right, and I suspect he is withholding the incredibly important fifth piece of advice as some sort of gatekeeping, but absolutely DO NOT forget to Venmo the editor $10 (send as friends & family)
As someone who has published 13 (yeah that's right) pieces of writing in several lit mags (some that still exist), my advice is:

1.) Submit (unsubmitted work is rarely published anymore)
2.) ONly submit good writing
3.) Call editors for status updates
4.)Make the 1st sentence good (lol)

I had such an incredible experience with the Cover team. Just a fantastic editorial partnership that elevated the original work. Go submit!
Anyone know why we might be getting an unusual number of submissions today? Enjoying it, just not the usual trickle.

Tomorrow, we turn 1-month-old as a journal and we'll celebrate it this Saturday with not two but four new pieces that explore relationships & connection & intimacy in delightfully different ways for Valentine's Day. Stay tuned and watch this space.

I keep the TV on all day and mostly watch news. It is important to stay connected to the outside world. The news keeps me up to date on all the school shootings and genocides.
