The thing that scares me most isn't monsters or ghosts or aliens, but us. Plain, simple humans, giving in to our worst impulses because of anger or hate or fear. And on the flip side of that, doing amazing, often heroic and loving things despite all those emotions.

I LOVE this book!!! Reimaginings of Austen characters aren't really my thing but I gave this one a chance because a friend recommended it and I'm SO GLAD I did. It's so sexy and full of yearning, and Lindz's take on Charlotte is perfect.
