Such a fantastic review of my sun-vampire cult novella, SUNBATHERS! I didn't intend it to be so prescient at the time, but here we all are. What a fun era to be alive.

Legit did not know Colson Whitehead wrote a book inspired by the White House Boys of Dozier, let alone that said book was adapted for the screen and that said adaptation was nominated for multiple Oscars.
NICKEL BOYS: another film with an interesting camera perspective! An adaptation of the book by Colson Whitehead; two Black teens at a horrible reform school in 1960s Florida. Brutal, lonely, and intimate by turns. Deserved a lot more notice than it got; an absolute must-see for movie fans.
