FF#26 review thread!!
Short SFF Reading Update #quicksipreviews

Fusion Fragment #26 (8 originals) @fusionfragment.bsky.social

A general focus on loss and family with a lot of different visions of the future, most of them featuring a rather fractured and damaged Earth.

Saros #4 review thread!!
Short SFF Reading Update #quicksipreviews

Saros #4 (5 originals) from @fusionfragment.bsky.social

The theme of the issue is dystopia/post-apocalypse, and the stories do indeed show some grim futures dominated by inequality, exploitation, and desolation. Through it all, though, there is still hope

We're taking a bit of a break from reading in December, but the submission gates will remain open (mostly because those gates are really heavy, it takes like 5 people to move them, and also they've gotten a bit rusty so maybe I should deal with that somehow but you know what, I'm tired.)

One regret I've always had is that I used stock art for FF#1 back when I re-launched the mag. Now that I'm reformatting old issues to our new digest format, I'm able to correct past mistakes! Check out the new FF#1 cover, with art licensed from long-time FF collaborator @carlydraws.bsky.social!

The print proof of FF#26 has arrived! Here it is pictured with Gus the Gargoyle (year-round decor), and a bunch of seasonal decor.
