I'm going to start a thread to try to keep track of stuff I watched, read, listened to, or whatever through the year.

I have such a terrible memory and feel like I forget things as soon as I'm finished watching, so I think this will be interesting to look back on.

Lots of us used a pronoun labeler on here that has gone away, but there's a new pronoun labeler people are using.

Labelers can be confusing if you haven't used them before (& even if you have). They can be used in different ways.

This thread shows you how to use the pronoun labeler. 🧵

Well the paint has moved away from desk #1 because I finally painted the bathroom. And I just realised I didn't take a before photo. But anyway...

I really do need to fix this.
I have two desks. This is what they currently look like. I want one to be usable by this time tomorrow, and for them both to be sorted by this time next week.

So this is me holding myself accountable.

It's so sad that thin people don't get to experience the joy that is being a floaty-boaty. 🐻🩷🌊
Franzi Schimmer captured this Grizzly bear in Brooks Falls, Alaska just floating along, tippy-tapping down the river, browsing the salmon.

Prior to hibernation, up to 40% of a bear's body mass is fat, which is less dense than water (~0.9 g/cm^2), so the murder-monster is also a floaty-boaty.

My favorite photos from the Olympics are of this Italian figure skater Daniel Grassl. He looks absolutely insane in so many of them. It's great.

I love this, but mostly I hope this kid is doing okay.

Australian people - what are we buying from Costco that's good value?

They have some CNY gift packs I want so I'm looking at other stuff too but it seems more expensive than the supermarket?

I feel like having all the neckbeards on one side somehow weighs down the photo. Though those side burns are making a gallant effort to even things out.

It’s once again Girl Scout cookie season so it’s time for me remind everyone to please consider buying from NYC’s Girl Scout Troop 6000, which is entirely made up of girls living in NYC homeless shelters 🙏❤️

This has been the most frustrating project I've done in ages. I just haven't been able to get things the way I wanted them.

This is just one petal, but I'm finally heading in the right direction. And this actually feels doable now.

23 more petals to go. Then I can block them, and start sewing.

Using this thread for some moments in the minutes after. All shot on my z8, edited on phone for now. 🦭 🦑

I want to see every single person who is financially benefiting from this paraded in the street and pelted with vegetables. (And other things I can't say without being banned.)
One GEO group ICE camp saw a profit increase of $254 million last year.

That’s why there’s a quota.

That’s why ICE grabs anyone they can get their hands on.

That’s why they’re about to spend over $30 billion to build camps around the country.

It’s a money making machine.

GEO Group's profits soared last year as it opened four new immigration detention centers, including a largescale 1,800-bed facility in Northern Michigan.

It also didn't help that zoomers were trapped at home with their alcoholic parents during covid. No hiding that shit during school hours for those 'wine Mum's'.
"zoomers are killing the bar industry" oh interesting was it zoomers who decided a drink should cost seventeen dollars
