Not front page news though it probably would’ve been if it was the other way around.

Wasn't Angela Rayner hounded out of office by the media for something similar?
"Nigel Farage has blamed his failure to declare £380,000 of income from TV and speeches on “severe growing pains” since becoming an MP and the fact that “I don’t do computers”." [Times]

Brianna Ghey was targeted by classmates who knew her offline. Online, she made friends and a community, and was making content to help other trans kids like her.

This is a grieving mother pushing for legislation that would have further isolated her trans child, that is supported by transphobes.

A profoundly uplifting book despite the awful and movingly written tragedy within. It helped me consider how I have dealt with grief and suicide as well as opening my eyes further to the plight of trans teens who cannot get the healthcare they so desperately need. Buy or borrow this book now.
I’m ridiculously pleased to have received a statement from PLR. I’ve earned £33.61 from loans of print and ebooks from UK libraries.

I’m nine again and have just found 50p down the back of the sofa.

Withdraw Her Name Is Alice from your local library and gift me 12p and some annual childish joy ❤️

100% seconded. You'll be picking this up for a fiver in a couple of years. Don't get me wrong, great book, but even the initial print run on this book was 250,000.
The fear of missing out is so strong with people new to collecting comics that they are spending hundreds now on a comic with 10 printings, hundreds of variants and a huge initial print run. Rookie mistakes and burn out collectors when they find out these books never hold value.

I would argue we've regressed since then. At least when a baboon shows its arse in public, there's not usually a victim.
