For studio secret Santa this year I got the wonderful Molley May and gifted her lino prints of her beloved cats as eerie Victorian children.
I hadn’t tried my hand at lino cutting/printing in over a decade so I was a bit nervous but it was a ton of fun! I only made a few mistakes :)

It seems fluency with an accent is likely more frowned upon than an inarticulate speaker trying their best to mimic the local language in some of these cases.

I am always the biggest dummy when it comes to selecting promo images of my work for shows/cons/etc.
I'll be like 3 images deep and still be like "mmmmm what am I missing?" and it's like "dude, what about that whole GRAPHIC NOVEL you made that took you years?" lol

Crunchy timelines burn people out. Low page rates and advances burn people out. Give a cartoonist a living salary and the time to work, and you are investing in a long-term CAREER. Books get passed around. Audiences grow over TIME. Books don't have to be first-day bestsellers to be successful.
