My wife just changed the battery in our car. If you've ever tried to get the battery out of a Volvo V60 you'll know it's a bastard of a task. She did it though. Only swore in two of her many known languages, too.

It is apparently 20C in here, and yet I'm freezing my nuts off. Actual shivering and numb hands.
Don't tell me I don't have nuts. I know. They froze off, I just damn well said that.

I went too long without eating and now even though I've had a lot to eat I feel really weird and hungover. Is this a 'nearly 40' thing, or a healthy person thing? I used to skip meals all the time without repercussions back when... er... I was dangerously underweight you know what never mind.

If I find whoever it is letting off fireworks near me, I'm going to do several very illegal and painful things to them that I won't detail here because Bluesky's moderation team has no sense of humor. It's been a solid week of fucking fireworks and I'm tired of it. My cat is tired of it too.
