Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

Currently obsessed with the idea of "A Normal Amount of Owls"
ie. How many times can you see something before it becomes weird.
ex. You can see dozens of dogs walking down the street before you think it's odd, but it only takes a couple of owls in the day.

I think the realities of accountability when it comes to AI haven't come home to roost yet but you'd better believe that if this happens at a huge company then "well the AI did it" is not going to be good enough and shareholders are going to want so many heads on pikes.
