Don’t worry ladies, all you have to do to vote is sign a legal affidavit under penalty of perjury. Unlike men, who just get to vote. 🤔

So when thousands of women (and children) were being duplicated--including in non-consensual AI porn--it was no big deal. But it took "only a 15-sec clip" of these two famous white men to draw outrage and fear. Gotcha. Cool cool.
It took only a 15-second clip of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt duking it out on a crumbling rooftop — made by A.I. with a two-sentence prompt and the click of a button — to draw swift outrage, and sizable fear, from Hollywood.

"It’s nothing short of terrifying," one scriptwriter said.
Why an A.I. Video of Tom Cruise Battling Brad Pitt Spooked Hollywood
A 15-second clip created by an artificial intelligence tool owned by the Chinese technology company ByteDance appears more cinematic than anything so far.

They want to scare people out of posting ICE-critical content, because they know these posts are turning even their supporters against them. But the better option is to take a page out of their playbook and flood the zone.
Posting about ICE on Instagram is now enough to get you an “administrative subpoena.” 👀

Basically the United States is crumbling into a third-world country with a VERY thin veneer of consumerism temporarily concealing the fast-growing sinkhole beneath us.
Is there a national health reporter out there who can help amplify what’s happening in Eugene, Oregon?
We are the 2nd largest city in Oregon (180K+), home of the state’s flagship university, and we have NO HOSPITAL or EMERGENCY ROOM.

Your Presidents' Day reminder that patriotism isn't about attacking immigrants, cutting taxes for the rich, or dividing us by race & faith. True patriots don't pander to divisiveness or hate. They work to confirm the "WE" in "We the People of the United States."

This is the ultimate futility of Trumpism: in their desperation to exclude immigrants from some herrenvolk American society, MAGA ethnonationalists are in fact compelling everyday Americans to reaffirm and strengthen their communal bonds to immigrants.
My theory of the moment: The extraordinary courage of ordinary people in places like Minneapolis is reawakening us to our social and economic ties to immigrants. It's making "love thy neighbor" cool again. That's the ultimate antidote to MAGA hate.

It really is amazing how much of political punditry, *especially* elite outfits in NYC and Washington, still embrace this bizarre idea that rural spaces represent the "Real America" while metropolitan areas, where most (presumably real) Americans actually live, should be held in contempt.
Just going to point out again that our arbitrary political rules permit Republicans to attack urban areas with impunity but strictly forbid the faintest whiff of condescension toward rural areas by Democrats
