In addition to rent, groceries, and other essentials, utility bills are becoming a major need and are depleting mutual aid funds in our community. Please consider a contribution if you can: bit.ly/UtilityBillF....

Thousands of Minnesota families haven’t been able to work or leave home for two months due to ICE. Utility bills are stacking up big time.

Anyone can give to this fund to directly and immediately help with those expenses. Xcel, CenterPoint, and other for-profit utilities should be pitching in too.

He literally says in this clip that ICE will keep in Minnesota “quick reaction forces” — a military term — to go after “agitators.” Remember that those on the ground in MPLS have spent more than a week trying to tell everyone that Trump’s prior “deescalation” was a ruse and ICE is still operational
Homan: "Operation Metro Surge is ending. In the next week, we're going to deploy the officers here on detail back to their home stations or to other areas of the country where they're needed."

Minnesotans are traumatized, businesses have been decimated, entire communities have been in hiding and the educational and emotional cost to our children is immeasurable. There will be so much relief after these violent goons leave our streets but it will take a long time to rebuild.

I don’t really know what I expect in posting this, but maybe some people see it and can learn from it.

I’ll call it “lessons from an unwilling immigration attorney.”

Need met! People are the best!

Everything over the $1600 we collected will be put toward another family’s needs.
My household is supporting a South Minneapolis family unable to work or leave home due to ICE. If we can raise some or all of their $1600 rent, we can avoid drawing from high-demand assistance funds and ensure there's more to go around.

Tell your friends! Tell your family! Especially if they have disposable income and live outside Minnesota! We're past the halfway point with $810/$1600 so far.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

Anyone in Minnesota will tell you that this matches the eye test. They are simply grabbing anyone who's not white. Full stop. There is no other strategy to this at all. It's a racist, heinous federal occupation.

Dismantle the agencies.
Prosecute everyone involved.
Redistribute all the funding.
A stunning detail the ICE chief shared in this hearing that was supposed to be a brag, except it isn't: ICE has arrested 379,000 people between Jan. 2025-Jan. 2026 -- but only 8,700 were suspected gang members or known suspected terrorists.

That's 2%! www.huffpost.com/entry/latest...

Like 75% of the US Olympic curlers are from Minnesota. A lot of them curl out of two clubs in Saint Paul, one club is in Frogtown, a neighborhood that has been very heavily targeted by ICE. These curlers are good neighbors.
US Olympic Curling Team member speaks out against ICE:

"I'm proud to represent Team USA. But we'd be remiss if we didn't mention what's going on in Minnesota and what a tough time it's been. What's happening is wrong. There's no shades of gray."

We should not normalize smashing in people's car windows. That alone is a civil rights violation!
Federal agents abducted two people in Uptown, Minneapolis this morning at 6:45am. Boxed in their car in the middle of a major commercial street (Lagoon) and smashed out their window.

Another classic post-Homan day where around school dismissal time we get a flurry of ICE vehicles all across our neighborhoods. Today one vehicle led an observer to their own home and pointed at it. This is a sick game to them, but we won’t be intimidated and we won’t stop until DHS is abolished.

This is eerily similar to an abduction I responded to in mid-December, nearly two whole months ago. While the national media gaze shifts elsewhere, in Minnesota we're still under daily threat.
I arrived too late to an abduction yesterday. Ice vehicles boxed in a food delivery driver on the highway. They took him, and when I came on the scene (with a few other neighbors in cars), his keys were still in it. We found his phone, a debit card, his car title and registration.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵
