This is a really important point and failing to understand the male gaze correctly is how you wind up with people making the claim that lesbian stories which feature no men are somehow 'written for the male gaze' because they think 'male gaze' means 'experiences desire' not 'reinforces patriarchy'.
It's not just pornifying everything, it's a fucking surveillance state where the audience for every value system is framed around men's perspective, understanding and interests.

I do not have family or friends to fall back on if we lose our home. My son is special needs ASD and depends on things we only can have in our home. We would have to get rid of our pets and lose belongings. My car is small and without heat . Many things would make us crumble if we lose our home.
