Seen on FB: Local hospitals near me posted pictures of the first babies of 2026 with their parents. In the two instances I saw of Latino or Muslim families, the one inevitable racist commenter was immediately pounded on by at least 100 other people.

It is very counter-intuitive to people, I think, that the churches that give the most casual vibes are often dogmatically/socially rigid and the churches that are often very outwardly traditional are more progressive. Never been really sure what overcomes that except pointing it out to people lol

The most intense spiritual discipline I can think of is turning on read receipts on all your texts. I know an extremely prominent theologian who has read receipts on, and it's such a clear mark of sanctification.
