I have worshipped at Messiah a couple times in recent years. The community is beautifully bi-cultural. There is so much grace given there. 🙏🙏
Please read!
A Messiah, St. Paul, member shared this, From the (Burmese) Karen Organization of Minnesota. Messiah first welcomed then Karen Burmese Refugees in 2007. They have become integral members of the Church. Link in the comments. ⚓

Austin at Gospel Simplicity, who did an interview with @dljohnston.bsky.social a few weeks ago, just posted the nicest appreciation of the BCP. ⚓ He loves the "mix of prayer and intellectual stimulation” and “the combination of structure and change.” Me too! youtu.be/6LlBeEWX-BE?...

Each week for my 4 Advent candles this year, I'm doing Luke's 4 Beatitudes, not, as before, death, judgement, heaven, hell.
This is a huge change for me. 🕯

You're looking into these creatures faces and saying, "You're going to die, you're going to die, you're going to die," and then, to one, "I'll let you live, for now." This is so sick! Children watching it.

If you're wondering whether you should ever read Peter Brown. 😊
