a year ago i wrote a story that went viral over here about how republicans could create a de facto national care ban for trans medicine

to stop it, democrats would have to hold the line in funding talks, and staff in congress told me they were unsure if they would

today, they stopped it
Will Democrats Let the GOP Gut Trans Health Care?
Donald Trump and Republicans may try to ban funding to companies that perform trans health care. Some fear Democrats won't stop them.

It’s quite likely that being called a “fucking bitch” is one of the last things a dying Renee Good ever heard.

I demand leaders who are as filled with pure, diamond-hard rage over this as I am.

I believe this is absolutely not asking for too much.
Not to be too morbid, but today's reporting is that she was actually still alive for several minutes. He said that to her while she was dying.

WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

The guy in the original screenshot doesn't have a single postdoc on his CV and your odds of even getting an interview without 1 or 2 of them in my field is so small as to be essentially zero.

To add to this: Hepatitis B infection has two phases -- acute and chronic. The chronic phase lasts years and results in the progressive destruction of the liver.

Progression to a chronic phase is inversely proportional to age. For infants, this can be as high as 95% of cases.
