The first collision is funny but the second one is without exaggeration the hardest I have laughed in years, I am crying and sniffling on the bus. You have to have the sound on. The anger in the guys voice. The dedication in the robots gait to run through that mirror. It is so funny.

so, today I got the surgery center where I got my deviated septum fixed to send me an itemized bill so I could submit to my FSA for reimbursement

I was at an event yesterday where Rand Paul spoke via video and talked about how great it was to send ACA money "directly to the people" so that they could work collectively to get better deals on health care.

I think it's interesting that the overwhelming consensus is that Scott Wiener will run away with this. Personally I'm keeping an eye on this to see exactly how toxic is Israel going to be in the primary. Scott has some pretty strong pro-Israel/anti-Palestine statements in the past (condemning BDS),

This has to be the demand - not just a unfocused "fuck the cavers", but a focused demand to replace Schumer with someone who has already proven up to the moment. I will be making regular calls to have Schiff and Padilla demand this, and the more of us that do the more real it could be.

Some of this has to be the asymmetrical effects of churn. The downwardly mobile have cultural cache to complain about it in a way that the upwardly mobile don't, or that the upwardly mobile are more diverse than the past so many of them are discounted entirely.
Looking at these things and deciding that they’re true is just poison for your understanding of the world, but every day millions of people unlock their phones and nod along.
