There are obvious principled reasons to take a stance in favor of porn (free speech, bodily autonomy, queer liberation, support for feminized workers) but it's also a great way for the anti-fascist popular front to distinguish itself from Christian Nationalist scolds and appeal to young men.
There has been a noticeable reticence in left and liberal circles to voice full-throated support for pornography, even as it's become increasingly clear what the open end goals of the censorship movement are
In a lot of ways other leftists chose this path folks. They shrugged and didn’t care when Patreon banned a ton of hypnosis and TF creators, or when YouTube started their ASMR crackdown. Now it’s coming for queer porn creators, more and more. Who will stand up?

NEW BLOG POST! I should probably have written this three years ago when it first came out, but Kate Beaton's DUCKS: TWO YEARS IN THE OIL SANDS is a genuine masterpiece and you should all read it.
The first collision is funny but the second one is without exaggeration the hardest I have laughed in years, I am crying and sniffling on the bus. You have to have the sound on. The anger in the guys voice. The dedication in the robots gait to run through that mirror. It is so funny.
