Kintsugi is the centuries old Japanese art of repairing broken pottery and ceramics using gold, specifically highlighting the cracks and timeworn imperfections as a testament to resilience and continuing on despite difficulty.

That is why my bird statue looks like this.

Actually, Fox News viewers, what Trump did in 2020 was not equivalent to what Kennedy did in 1960 or to Al Gore in 2000.
Analysis | Jesse Watters has a ludicrous defense of the 2020 fake-elector scheme
Would Al Gore have been indicted had he introduced an alternate slate in 2000, the Fox News host asked — ignoring, among other things, that Gore didn't.

Look all I'm saying is that queer people identify with villains like Ursula, Rita Repulsa, Dr. Claw, and Cobra Commander for a reason.
1. Ursula: Short hair, witchy.
2. Rita Repulsa: Frustrated, over the top.
3. Dr. Claw: Has cat, wears rings.
4. Cobra Commander: Lisp, cape, obsessed with soldiers.

so basically plausible deniability for advertisers so tim apple can claim they chose the 'no nazi' button for their mac book air ads so everything is fine
Twitter is rolling out "sensitivity settings" for advertisers - which I, foolishly, assumed already existed.

(Is there a "no horrifying child sexual abuse material" option, since we know it's floating around?)

The best part is when you do, eventually they call you unprofessional as if being a writer is a signal you welcome verbal abuse and harassment or other derangement and have breached ethics by returning the energy they brought. I mean that's what they do with me.
You know what I don’t like? I don’t like total strangers going from 0 to 11 on me and then getting aggrieved when I respond like a normal human being.

The group she’s affiliated with tipped off the cops about the fetuses in her apartment refrigerator *the day after* she was indicted on felony charges for blockading an abortion clinic

This activist would much rather have us talking about fetuses she hid in her fridge instead of the fact that she directed people to invade an abortion clinic and tie themselves to chairs with ropes and chains that police had to use power tools to unlock

Can’t overstate it: Roe v Wade was an electoral gift to Republicans while it was alive. It turned an issue that’s a huge loser for the party into a winner—they could mobilize their anti-abortion base without triggering a backlash by the abortion rights majority.

Now that’s over.

Runners: There is ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTIFICATION to be running AGAINST traffic in the bike lane when you have a clear 8 foot wide sidewalk. In fact, you've only just increased risk of serious injury or death — of yourself or me.

Yes, I yelled, "It's a bike lane not a f&$cking running lane!" That's me!

I can think of few companion murals to the Five Below murad that suit it better than a dueling Citizens Bank murad.

Still better than a traditional wrap, though.

Thanks to these behemoths, despite countless street safety improvements and advocacy efforts nationwide, pedestrian deaths have sharply INCREASED this century. This past year saw the worst death toll in nearly half a century: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna91506
I’ve spent much of the last year examining car bloat, the process through which smaller vehicles are being replaced by increasingly massive SUVs and trucks.

What I’ve learned: Huge cars are terrible for society, often in ways that are hidden.

Having been a person appointed to carry out two people's wishes in terms of death and power of attorney in terms of medical care, I can relate. I view this responsibility as literally the most serious one in my entire life. It requires obliteration of the ego, acting purely as an instrument.
I officiated at funeral earlier today. I always cry at them even when I didn’t know the person.

I still remain convicted walking with those who have lost someone and officiating the funeral liturgy is just about the holiest thing we can do as clergy.

It's wild to see how much the actions of a few people with bad money sense cause folks to flock to something new and exciting. I'm glad you're all here!
