And, also, if you run a business that regularly purchases shipping supplies: ULINE is run by some of the worst people on Earth. Get your boxes and tape elsewhere.
Remember: don't eat the mid tier fast food chicken, don't play the wizard game, don't shop at the hobby store run by the bad guys from Indiana Jones, and don't donate to the bigot bucket.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

Any normal person would think children who are sick or disabled should be offered the highest order of care and protection.
Jewish Federations applauds Olivia Reingold, a staff writer at Bari Weiss's Free Press, as she victory laps her (ghoulish and erroneous) reporting that some of the children Israel was starving to death and denying medical aid to in Gaza had pre-existing conditions.

Clay Higgins, the only Member of Congress to vote against releasing the Epstein Files*, is a real piece of work.

* which Trump could have released directly any time since his inauguration if he wanted.

Tim Cook, the head of Apple, is having a nice dinner with MBS, who regularly orders executions, including for tweets.

Apple hosts "a Saudi app that allows men to track the movement of their wives and daughters. In 2019, Mr. Cook said he would investigate the app, but it is still available today."

🧵*11/18/2025 noncooperation thread*

A daily-ish thread of acts of noncompliance & defiance by individuals, communities, & institutions.

Late start for the thread today but, well, look what I just read. How could I not start a noncooperation thread? We the people. A nation of heroes. ❤️
Well, that was something. Showed up for deportation defense training in Borough Park, trainers arrived, said there was “evolving situation” in Bensonhurst, were we up for heading there, we said Hell yeah, went and met folks on the ground, ICE ended up driving out of the hood with no one detained 🔥✊

Tapping this sign. The police are not going to protect our communities from ICE. It's something we need to do.
I'm probably getting annoying to my friends because any time someone complains about ICE I point out that there is something they can do. They can volunteer with a community watch group and help protect their neighbors. If you're a white person and a citizen it's a pretty easy way to fight fascism.

A message below from my dear friend Tasneem in Gaza.

The civilians in Gaza are homeless and hungry. We're their only voice and means of survival.

Please give to Tasneem so she can feed her children and raise funds to escape and rebuild. And give to others if you can. 💕

The early-career workers are the same people who were schoolchildren during the pandemic, and suffered mightily with it.

I truly worry for this generation.

Some will still thrive but many will struggle for years.
Chilling piece on employment effects of AI on early careers. Includes this line, which will probably become the norm for many firms: "Managers at Shopify must now justify hiring a human by first explaining why AI can’t do the job."
