NGL the most recent ICE outrage has pushed me over the edge. I'm not OK right now, and I don't know what I need to be OK again (other that watching every ICE agent do a perp walk)

There’s this surfer sounding dude in Arizona that I love who just does science and nature stuff (usually lighting rocks on fire with his solar death ray) but I’ve been laughing at this for like ten minutes

Remember that

I'm really sick of the "we have to be realistic" people who think that being realistic is bargaining with Kristi Noem and Donald Trump about how many people they get to shoot.

They've already said their answer is anyone they want, unconstrained by the law.

First they came for LA
And LA told them to fuck right off
Then they came for Portland
And Portland sent them a plague of frogs
Then they came for Chicago
And Chicago said there's no room for you here
Then they came for Minneapolis
And Minneapolis brought the real ice

ICE isn’t an aberration, but the product of the militarized police state the US built at home and abroad. The shooting of an unarmed man isn’t new, just how brazenly this violence is carried out. Fight ICE, but to truly protect our communities, we must dismantle the system that made it possible.

If LEOs can kill you for the presence of a weapon you do not actually have a 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.

Call your senators
Call other senators
Tell them all that if they don't vote this down, they will share in the blood.
Reminder: DHS legislation that funds ICE at current levels without policy restrictions is in the Senate and needs 60 votes to pass. Deadline is next Friday.

Dems have to vote this down

this might not be the fight you want but this is the fight you have, they’re killing people in the streets and smearing the victims, they are totally out of control

meet the moment because it is coming to meet you whether you like it or not

Dear Mother Nature,
Could you turn the temperature down a little further, please. ICE doesn't seem to have gotten the message.

(Stay safe, stay loud)
Nearly half a dozen agents wrestling one individual to the ground and then one of them just starts shooting in the dog pile, steps back and unloads on the guy on the street.

If you see someone being taken, get their name. GET THEIR NAME. Call out, "what's your name?" or "como te llama?" and record or write it (or both, ideally both) and then call Monarca at 612-441-2881 with the person's name.
This something I want people to understand. If you don’t get their names, they’re just gone. There’s no arrest record and the snatch-and-grabs can last seconds. People simply disappear and we can’t find out who they are or what happened to them.
They seem to be making a habit of it.

This child was taken 10 days ago, no idea who he is, if he is with his family or even if his family knows what happened to him.

So hard that even the dog decided to do her business as quick as possible, barely making it off the porch before squatting.
