Good news about the cutting-edge AI tools from the $3-trillion-dollar company.
This is why the bubble is deflating. “AI” boosters will cite this as an example of an LLM that doesn’t run at a loss but then, when you point out the bad answers from cheap models, they cite much more expensive models & usage patterns as being more accurate. They’re stuck with a catch 22.

Great example of enshittification: Google now wants to use your Gmail to train AI, but if you opt out (Settings->General->Smart Features->Turn off) not only do you lose *spell check*, you also lose all sorting of emails, so everything goes in one giant inbox. I hate it here

This kind of thing gets read as Trump being gullible (agrees with whoever he last spoke with) but I think it's more about him being a coward. He knows Zohran is popular, and despite his protestations he knows he isn't. Easy to talk big online, another story when the guy is standing in front of him
