This is a fun question—best “serious” actor in a comedic role of the last decade?
It’s so much easier for comic actors to do drama than vice versa. Look at Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine or Truman Show, and then look at De Niro’s comedies, they’re terrible

Tomorrow is National Miners Day, which probably isn’t a big deal in your family, but it is in mine and I’m working tomorrow so we’re doing this tonight

The Labor Department barely acknowledges WHY December 6 is set aside, so I’m going to turn the mic over to my mom for a minute

Mark Pope's program spent more on its roster than any team in college basketball — somewhere in the vicinity of $20 million — and is overseeing a disaster more than a month into the season.

This is a five-alarm fire.

Yep. The illogic of Senate mods’ folding over fears of Republicans nuking the filibuster is also plain.

Folding to “save the filibuster” guarantees that Republicans never have to take a Dem filibuster seriously again. They can merely wait a while, threaten to nuke, and wait for mods’ white flag.
Not that he didn’t already know, but now Trump knows for sure he can roll the Dems every time and there’s no need to negotiate for anything

Since living in CA, I almost never reach out to my senators, because blue state. But tonight I did, just to let them know how pissed I am at Schumer.

Mary Hart is such a pro. 18 innings last night, didn’t flinch - back tonight, perfect posture, knowing exactly where the camera is at all times. Trash politics aside - Total Pro.

Oh no, whatever you do don’t take away the Olympics that everyone in the city definitely wants…
"Any city we think is going to be a little dangerous for the World Cup — or for the Olympics, where, you know, they have Olympic overthrow, right [???] — but for the World Cup in particular, where they're playing in so many cities, we won't allow it, we'll move it around a little bit"
Trump threatens to move World Cup games out of blue cities due to "crime"

Silly Jimmy Kimmel. He should have just called for all homeless people to be killed and he’d still have a job.

As end-of-empire scenarios go it is so much more dignified to get your capital city sacked by the Visigoths than to have a bunch of illiterate rich people in their 70s doing it through a series of incomprehensible tantrums because their brains were defeated by their phones.

My policy proposal: It shouldn't be illegal to be a billionaire, as long as it's also not a crime to kill a billionaire. If you think you can make $1B in a way that doesn't make anyone angry enough to want to kill you, good luck!

Instead of complaining about distractions (looking at you, Newsom), he makes it part of a broader story about Trump. He's got the juice.
Also asked Beshear about Epstein file non-release, inc (from his view as a former AG) what Bondi did wrong.

republicans operate according to a moral economy where wealthy oligarchs and polluters deserve the collected prosperity of the nation because of their wealth. the job of the rest of us is to toil for their benefit.
Seriously: Who the fuck benefits from this, besides Joe Craft and his coal mining interests and a couple of big gas producers? Republicans are screwing over their constituents, American business interests, and our country's future in an epic way here.
